WIKI / GETTING STARTED
Getting started
You woke up with a chip in your skull and no memory. Here is what to do first.
CHIP ONLINE. MEMORY: NOT FOUND. OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE. SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: GET OFF THIS PLANET.
You are a test subject in a quarantined colony that is falling apart. One rocket, the Medicus, is leaving at the end of the round, and seats go by a ticket draw. Everything you do is about one thing: earning tickets without dying too often.
Your first hour
- Pick a class and a trait when you wake up. They nudge your starting stats and bonuses (Classes and traits).
- Check in on Home every day for a free ticket.
- Train a little. Training spends energy and raises your stats.
- Try a few petty crimes on The Street. They pay cash and XP, but add heat (Crime and heat).
- Search your district's grid for finds.
The Slums
New subjects start in the Slums, the onboarding district. You are swept out to the city after a few days, or you can leave early from Travel. There is no going back.
Things worth knowing
- Your energy, nerve and health refill on their own over time (Your chip).
- Dying is not the end, but it costs you (Death and clones).
- New subjects are protected from other players until level 5.
