WIKI / HOW THINGS WORK
Training, stats and classes
Your stats, how training raises them, and what classes and traits do.
Stats
Your core stats are Strength, Agility, Defence, Bladesmanship and Marksmanship, used mostly in fights. Secondary stats (Intelligence, Spying, Driving, Endurance, Manual labour, Entrepreneurship) matter for crimes, jobs, racing and more. Everyone starts at 10.
Training
At a gym in your district, spend energy to raise a stat. Gains get smaller as a stat gets very high, so spreading effort pays off, and late joiners can catch up.
Classes and traits
Your class gives small bonuses (for example to training or a starting stat). Your trait adds a little flavour on top. You can change class later, for a price.
Subroutines and courses
- Subroutines are perks your chip unlocks with merit points from achievements.
- Courses take real time and give lasting bonuses. Some carry over to future rounds.
